A tall and imposing portion of the Cathedral formation. The Center Wall offers routes in excess of 400' on beautiful rock. Much of this climbing is aid and a clean ethic is standard. You'll find a damp chimney, blank faces and challenging folds of rock and roof work. Top out and and walk through the woods to a road that loops back to the parking area or rappel on 2 ropes.

The approach can be a challenge in and of itself; depart right from the paved path next to a large block and follow a faint path, eventually you may see some cairns but moving through the talus covered brush just before you break through to the open talus field is bound to try your patience.

The approach can be a challenge in and of itself; depart right from the paved path next to a large block and follow a faint path, eventually you may see some cairns but moving through the talus covered brush just before you break through to the open talus field is bound to try your patience. Rock fall is an ever present hazard at Cannon Cliff so wearing a helmet is a must. Beware the weather at Cannon as conditions can change quickly and storms approaching from the west will not be visible until they are upon you.
