This trail is located just outside of Talladega and leads to a scenic lake hidden in the Talladega National Forest. The road follows the ridgelines of the oak and pine forests than descends into the valley with rocky and steep switchbacks. There is a creek crossing that is a popular obstacle. The lake is shallow and offers excellent fishing. The recommended vehicle is a lightly modified 4x4 with a small lift and large tires.
