Hawk Pride Mountain Offroad offers a fun place to ride. They have a variety of trails and terrain that range from easy to very challenging and host several off-roading events throughout the year. Camping and cabins are also available onsite for use with an additional fee.

Geneva State Forest has miles of ATV riding through a mixed pinewood forest. Most of the trails are easy and flat so perfect for beginners. You’ll enjoy scenic views and the possibility to see some wildlife. The forest is open year-round except during scheduled deer hunting days which is December and January. The staging area has a self-pay kiosk and fishing is allowed at the lake.

This trail is located just outside of Talladega and leads to a scenic lake hidden in the Talladega National Forest. The road follows the ridgelines of the oak and pine forests than descends into the valley with rocky and steep switchbacks. There is a creek crossing that is a popular obstacle. The lake is shallow and offers excellent fishing. The recommended vehicle is a lightly modified 4x4 with a small lift and large tires.

Tombstone is a short trail located within Choccolocco Mountain ORV Park. It is just 1 mile long but is steep, rocky, and challenging. The trail follows one of the ridgelines and travels from south to north. It can be run from either trailhead. There is a fee to use the trails and campgrounds are available.

Located in the northwest border of the Talladega National Forest, this trail is mostly gravel or a single lane dirt road. You’ll pass through different types of forest. When dry the road is easy but after rainfall, it becomes muddy and rutted requiring 4WD. It is open year-round but may be closed during wildfires or prescribed burns.

Boggs and Boulders is a large off-road park with over 1,000 acres of wooded trail, mud bogs, water crossings, ponds, and open pastures. The park is open Thursdays through Sunday Year-round. Camping is available as well as other recreation.

The Kentuck ORV Trail is open to ATVs, motorcycles, and mountain bikes. There are 4 loops for a total of 23 miles of riding. This map is 2 of the loops. The terrain is varied and has easy sections and difficult sections with obstacles, steep grades, and tight turns. Vault toilets are provided at the trailhead.

Boggin on the Plains was once known as The Great American Park and offers a place for off-roading. They have a variety of terrain including wooded trails, mud bogs, rock gardens, and primitive camping. It is open on select weekends so call in advance to check the schedule.

Hollytree offroad park offers over 400 acres of trails with a variety of terrain including rock crawling play areas, mud pits, and wooded trails. You can find easy or difficult trails to ride. The park is open daily from 9 to dark but guests should call in advance on weekdays to let them know you are coming. There is a fee to ride the trails and camping is also available (Free with a 2-day pass).

Riverside Motocross Park is a privately owned motorcycle track for all skill levels. The surface is a mix of red clay and loamy soil. There are berms, tabletops, rhythm sections, and several jumps. A separate peewee track is also open for the littles. Camping is available for both primitive sites and full hookup sites. They are open daily from 9-dark.
