This adventure follows the course for 1 of the 5 races in the Discrete Peak Series. The Deer Valley race for 2017 will be on June 24th and begins at the base of Snow Park Lodge at Deer Valley Resort. You will climb a challenging 2,120ft. in 9.3 miles, while combining different trails. The terrain has good variety that requires physical endurance and mental stamina. Prepare for narrow single track, dirt roads and some rocky sections. The scenery is spectacular with views of Joradanelle Reservoir, the Uinta Mountains, Silver Lake and Mount Timpanogas. This is the yellow loop for the 2018 Ragnar Trail race. There is a combination of singletrack and dirt roads. The first half is steep climbing up to a beautiful viewpoint. The descent is mostly singletrack on a flowy trail that is super fun running! The trail surface is sandy, rocky, and steep.

This is the 2018 red Zion Ragnar Trail race loop. The first 2 miles is pretty steady climbing on a nice dirt surface. Once you get to the top the views are enjoyable and you'll run on a windy singletrack trail over several foot bridges. After the climb the running is pleasant and easily doable.

Beginning in Bluffdale, this new section of the Jordan Parkway trail travels south towards Lehi. It is smooth, well maintained and wanders through scenic terrain. It is quiet and has mild elevation changes. You will first head north before the trail takes a sharp turn heading south.
