This popular crag is the first large rock formation on the north side of Little Cottonwood Canyon. Park at the lower canyon park and ride and take the trail at the northeast end of the lot and head east. There is quality typical Little Cottonwood granite with several trad and sport climbs, along with other walls close by.

Zion National Park is home to some of the world’s largest and steepest sandstone walls. Climbing is adventurous and extreme here. You will find hundreds of aid and free climbs. A $25 entry fee is required and gives you access for 7 days. During peak season (March-October) all cars must park at the Visitor Center and take shuttle buses to get access to the canyon. Shuttles are efficient and visit each stop every 15 minutes. Cerberus Gendarme is accessed from the Big Bend shuttle stop. It is popular and sees a lot of traffic because the access is easy and there are a number of quality routes. 3 routes begin on the west face and all others are located on the south.

Eagle Plume Tower is at the far north end of Valley of the Gods in Bears Ears National Monument. It also has one of the classic routes (Eagle Feather) on the south side of the tower. You can drive to the indicated point along a dirt road and park not too far from the base. The approach is easy until the talus slope close to the tower. It's a little steep and loose. Don't climb this in wet conditions because it will damage the rock. Also, definitely avoid this during the heat of the summer.
