Castle Rock Ride is located in the Black Hills of South Dakota. The trail travels on Forest Service Roads that are popular for hunters. There are some historic Beryllium mines, and other things to see along the way. A spark arresting exhaust silencer or end cap is required as well as a Black Hills National Forest Trail Permit.

This route begins at Mina Lake, then passing by Richmond Lake and ens in Aberdeen on a groomed trail. It is part of the Dakota Midland Trail. All snowmobiles must be licensed and insured.

Railroad Buttes offer a variety of terrain to explore, including hill climbs, singletrack trails, motocross tracks on hard-packed and smooth dirt. The staging area is large with plenty of room for RVs, and trailers. Camping is allowed and free but be aware there is no shade or amenities. Black Hills National Forest is a premier offroad destination. The place is huge and has endless trails to explore. This route begins at the Pine Grove Trailhead and follows winding trails that are seldomly traveled. Some places to visit are Big Battle Creek Falls, Black Elk Peak, Hippy Hole, and Foster’s Well. Custer Peak Parking Lot is one of the many staging areas for snowmobiling in the Black Hills Trails System. Follow trail #7 towards Custer Peak. All snowmobiles must be properly licensed and insured. Permits are also required and available to purchase at the Black Hills Trails Office.

Black Hills National Forest is a premier offroad destination. The place is huge and has endless trails to explore. This ride begins at the Trailhead Lodge Loading area. Some of the places you can visit are the RIfle Pit Cabin, Hardy Guard Station, Hanna National Forest Campground, and other campgrounds. This ride crosses the border so a Wyoming ORV permit is also required for all enrolled roads, routes, and 50″ or less trails designated for ORV use.

The Four Lakes Trail is over 150 miles long. This section begins in Iroquois and travels to Lake Preston on a groomed trail. All snowmobiles must be licensed and insured.

Jackpine Gypsies Motorcycle Club is one of the oldest AMA clubs around. They have a flat track, motocross track, and some challenging hill climbs. Several events are hosted here during late summer. A spark arresting exhaust silencer or end cap is required.

This route follows Trail #2 on a minimally groomed trail that begins at South Ditch Creek Lot. There is other trails that branch off for more exploring. All snowmobiles must be properly licensed and insured. Permits are also required and available to purchase at the Black Hills Trails Office.
