Grand Lake O' The Cherokees is tucked into the Ozark Mountains. People have seen red foxes, mallard drakes, bald eagles, and armadillos around the lake. Indian Hills Resort and Marina is on the north side of the lake, right off of Highway 85. It is near the Horse Creek Cove. There are also five State Parks located around this lake as a bonus.

Grand Lake O' The Cherokees is also known as Grand Lake. It has 1,300 miles of shore line and is surrounded by 5 state parks. It is tucked into the Ozark mountains in north-eastern Oklahoma. This entrance to the lake in particular, has a fun environment and is social, loud, and busy. Ugly John's Grill and Bar is located nearby as well for adventurers to grab a bite to eat.

Broken Bow Lake is often called the "Gem of the State" because of its clean and clear blue waters and gorgeous tree covered shorelines. Beavers Bend Marina is at the southern part of the lake and can been accessed by Highway 259 and E1965 road. This is a great destination for a family outing on the lake.

Previously known as Fountain Head State Park, Lake Eufaula State Park is the largest lake in Oklahoma. It contains about 600 miles of shore line. Lake Eufaula Marina is located in Checotah closer to the northern part of the lake. This marina is right off of Highway 150. When canoeing or kayaking you can float under the Interstate 40.

Caney Ridge Marina is situated at the northern part of Tenkiller Ferry Lake closest to where the Illinois River joins. There are some currents due to the location of this marina, so make sure to bring a life jacket. Caney Ridge Marina is surrounded by lush trees and clear green water.
