Little Missouri State Park Campground has absolutely amazing scenery. It is very welcoming to horses and horse trailers. Horse corrals are even included in most campsites. There is plenty of grass around the sites. Lots of trails can be found for horses, or just walking on foot. Pricing is fairly cheap- $12 to camp plus $5 per day.

East Totten Campground is right along the banks of Lake Audubon. Visitors enjoy lots of different recreational activities including boating, fishing, swimming, wildlife viewing, and bird watching. The Bismarck KOA Campground has tons of great family activities. The campground includes 50 max amp power and a 90 foot max trailer length. There is also bike rentals, a snack bar, and much more. Even though Toy Haulers are allowed, ATV’s, UTV’s, golf carts, dirt bikes, etc. are not allowed on grounds. There are tennis and basketball courts. Water will not be available on sites from October to May.

The campground tends to get pretty crowded on the weekends but is quiet during the week. Pricing is right around $25 per night. Previous campers have reported a heavy population of bugs, so it could be a good idea to be prepared.
