This loop ride begins on Boulder Road and rides through the small town of Pony then passes by Cataract Creek Reservoir and to the Lower Mason Lake. Views of the lake are gorgeous and there is great chance to see moose or other wildlife. Return down to Old Miners Cabin road through Mammoth.

Niarada Raceway is a motocross park that consists of loose dirt. A permit is not required here and the trails are open all year. There is a $5-10 dollar fee per person per day. It is recommended that visitors check the website to see the weekly schedule before coming.

Highwood Mountains Motorcycle Trails are located within Lewis and Clark National Forest and offers an endless amount of beautiful single track trails. There is even a campground within the area that provides plenty of sites with access to vault toilets. The trails consist of mostly hard packed dirt with berms and lots of trees.

Cokedale Motocross Track is about a mile long track that is made up of uphill and downhill climbs. A membership is required here and visitors should call and coordinate with race and practice schedules. A motocross helmet is required here.

Hungry Horse Motocross Track is a rugged yet beautiful track. This trail consists of mostly hard packed dirt and there are also some ATV trails for a few miles. No fees are required and there are quite a few campsites/campgrounds nearby. Large jumps and trees should be expected.

Bitter Creek Trail System consists of miles and miles of open motorcycle and dirt bike trail. ATVs and UTVs are not allowed here. Primitive camping is welcome and there are quite a few spots. There are tons of side trails throughout the main trail but they can get muddy at times.

Rocky Mountain Riders Club is a motocross track that offers a variety of trails like a pee-wee track and several creek crossings. Quads are also allowed at the tracks and no permits are required here. There is a $10 fee per rider per day. Whip flags are not required.

Millpond Motocross Track is located within an old timber mill site and is open to both ATVs and dirt bikes. It is recommended that visitors check the website to be sure the track is available for use before going. The track consists of mostly hard packed dirt and no permit is required for riding.

Sylvia Lake Trail is located within Flathead National Forest and offers quite a few miles of heavily wooded, single track trails. Lots of trees overgrow the trail which can make it difficult at times. Hiking is also a popular activity here and there is a campground near the trailhead. ATVs and UTVs are not allowed here.

Anaconda MX is a 1 mile long motocross track that consists of hard packed dirt and large jumps. A membership is required to ride here. ATVs and UTVs are not permitted here. Whip flags are not required and dirt bikes are welcome here as well. Helmets are required.
