Beartown State Forest has over 16 miles of ATV trails that explore the thick forest. There is a large area for staging with maps and restrooms. A fee is charged to park May through Labor Day during the weekends. The trail surface is a mix of loose and chunk rock, mud puddles, tree roots, and uphill sections. This trail is known as the Turkey Trail. All ATVs must be registered in Massachusetts and a spark arresting exhaust silencer or end cap is required.

October Mountain State Forest offers over 20 miles of ATV Trail that explore a thick wooded forest. There are several staging areas and the trails intersect with the Appalachian Trail. Most of the terrain is rocky and rugged. Trails are open from May-November dawn till dusk.

BRO MX is a privately owned track that is open for practice on select dates. The track is one mile long and accommodates both beginners and experienced riders. There is an 80db noise limit.
