Trail Running

The Pebble Creek Trail is most often done as a shuttle hike with a ride arranged at or near the Pebble Creek Campground, but it does have options such as overnight camping along the way. After conquering the steep ascent in the first mile or so, the reward is an enjoyable downhill walk through meadows and along streams. The trail goes out around the back side of the majestic Barronette Peak. A permit is required for any overnight hike inside the National Park.
