With hundreds of miles of bike-friendly roads, the options here are endless for exploring the cultural, historical, and natural attractions of southern Rock County. You will leave from Beloit riding along a tree-lined lane, visit an 1860s water-powered gristmill, pass through many quaint towns, have great views of a remarkable five arch railroad bridge of European design that was built in 1855, and follow the bank of the creek as you return to Beloit. The terrain is flat to gently rolling. For a 27-mile ride, turn right onto County Road H at the Beckman Mill and then head south out of Afton on County Road D back to Beloit.
