The Spokane River Centennial Trail was constructed to celebrate Washington State's centennial and to connect the communities of the Spokane Valley. This segment of the flat, paved trail links downtown Spokane at Riverfront Park to Boulder Beach at Camp Sekani Park. The trail closely follows the scenic banks of the Spokane River, with the exception of a small section that cuts through Gonzaga University. The trail sees many users, from commuters to roller bladers.
