The trail network near Seven Mile Road at Riverside State Park winds through open forests of ponderosa pine as well as open areas and some stretches along the Spokane River. Much of the terrain is level or gently rolling, with the exception of the transition between the river-level plains and the upper plateau area. The area is popular for running and mountain bike races and training. A Discover Pass is required to park at the trailhead.
