Mica Peak is one of the tallest in the Spokane region and the southernmost peak in the Selkirk Range. The most common route to the summits begins at Liberty Lake and follows the Edith Hanson Riding Trail through dense forest until it reaches an old road that leads to the top. The summit has several communication towers for civilian and military purposes and there is a good view south toward the Palouse and west toward Spokane.
