These two parks, operated by the city of Spokane, offer a number of trails suited for non-motorized uses. Indian Canyon Park features a waterfall and a forested canyon, while the trails in Palisades Park wind through an open pine forest on a plateau of volcanic rim-rock overlooking the city. There is additional parking at two places on Rimrock Dr. and a pullout on Greenwood Rd.
