Here you will ride through farmlands and villages at the Catoctin Valley. This is an easy ride, without major climbs. The beginner rider will be challenged by the rolling hills. There are several easy flat stretches. Traffic can be heavier and faster on Route 9, Rout 663 and Taylorstown Rd. The roads are paved and in good condition. The views are beautiful.
