Dog Lake is a popular destination in the summer. This approach begins in Big Cottonwood Canyon at the Mill D North Fork Trailhead. The trail is easy to follow and open to mountain bikes on even numbered days. Plan accordingly to help minimize the crowds. Once you reach Dog Lake you can continue on to Reynolds Peak. Reynolds Peak is a popular destination for backcountry skiing and snowshoeing in the winter months.
