Deseret Peak is the tallest mountain in the Stansbury Mountain Range and rises with more than 5,000 ft. of prominence. The peak is remote, rugged and you can usually find solitude here. This route climbs through aspen forests and meadows up to the saddle. The final section has several switchbacks to the summit. Some choose to make a loop and descend the Dry Lake Fork route. Wildlife is abundant and views from up top are stunning.
