Beginning in Slickville and ending in Saltsburg, the Westmoreland Heritage Trail is a crushed limestone smooth surface following Getty Run the entire route. The route begins with a gradual downhill all the way and thus the return route ascends back to Slickville. This could also be done as a one-way ride or started from Saltsburg to save the downhill for the return.
