This hilly ride takes a beautiful route through Mercer, Butler and Lawrence counties. The ride begins in Mercer and follows mostly remote roads toward Slippery Rock where it heads west to the historic city of Volant. Main Street in Volant is a great place to sightsee, as it has numerous shops that have been revitalized from when the city's mill closed in the 1960s. After Volant, New Wilmington is home to numerous Amish families and also to Westminster College. From New Wilmington, the ride heads back to Mercer to complete the loop.
