Pole Steeple is nestled in a thick grove of trees above Laurel Lake in Pine Grove Furnace State Park. The approach is a popular hiking trail and offers a pleasant atmosphere out in nature. The climbing cliff is composed of unique quartzite formations. Most of the routes are easy to moderate on less than vertical rock. You can access the top of the cliff from the hiking trail to set up a top rope. Views from the top of the cliff are stunning.
