Starting at the gorgeous Anthony Lake, an alpine lake surrounded by wildflowers in the summer, this trail leads to along Lilypad Lake and Black Lake before heading behind Gunsight Mountain. The trail then goes through Angel Pass where amazing views of the valley below will take your breath away. Continuing through the Blue Mountains, the trail then drops through Dutch Flat Saddle through the edge of the John Day Wilderness and loops back by Hoffer Lakes before returning to Anthony Lakes. This is an amazing day hike along granite peaks and alpine lakes.
