Maumee State Forest is located 15 miles southwest of Toledo. The area is flat with fine yellow sand and dark soil. The trails are open to motorcycles, mountain bikes and snowmobiles. This west side loop winds through a mature pine forest and is well-maintained and easy to follow. During the spring the trail can be muddy. Trails are posted as one-way travel in some sections.
