The Great Miami River Trail is a scenic paved pathway that follows closely along the banks of the river. This section of the trail begins at Fairfield's Water Works Park and offers a thick wooded section before opening up into grassy terrain with excellent views of the river all the way from Fairfield to Hamilton. As you get closer to Hamilton there are park benches in the shade and historical monuments.
