The Open Desert Loop adventure anticipates that you will be leaving a marked trail and hiking through open desert, before connecting back up with trail again. A hike for true desert adventurers, this hike will lead you along a low ridgeline through desert pavement. No water sources exist for this adventure, so pack your own, and come prepared for and aware of other desert hazards such as snakes, hot surfaces, etc. This type of adventure should be done in small groups for safety.
