Located in the Jarbidge area of Northern Nevada near Deer Mountain and Coon Creek Peak, this trail is best suited to experienced and serious hikers. The trail first falls over 2000 feet before climbing nearly as high on a much steeper path. That makes this tail easy to start and challenging to finish. This hike is designed as an out-and-back adventure, but can be done as a one-way because the trail ends at a National Forest road, accessible with a high clearance vehicle. The trailhead is located Jarbidge Charleston County Road.
