China Springs is part of the Toiyabe National Forest and offers off-road forest roads. They are rocky and have pleasant scenery. Fishing, camping, and boating are also popular in the area. A Nevada registration or out of state registration is required as well as a spark arresting silencer or end cap for all vehicles. There is a noise limit of 96 decibels. Dispersed camping is permitted.
