This route is an alternative route to Hogan Cabin. It is more direct but steeper than the Trail Creek Road. Hogan Cabin was built in the 1920’s to provide shelter for loggers and trail crews. You can rent the cabin from the forest service for overnight camping. Call 406-689-3243.
