The ski route to Hogan cabin is on a wide un-groomed road that is also used by snowmobiles. The climb is very mild and gradual enough to bring the kids and see the beautiful winter atmosphere. The cabin was built in the 1920’s to provide shelter for loggers and trail crews. You can rent the cabin from the forest service and stay the night. Call 406-689-3243 for reservations.
