Located just above Crow River, Crow-Hassan Park features expansive prairies and is one of the largest prairie-restoration projects in the states park system. There are rolling prairie grasslands, pockets hardwood trees scattered along the trail and other natural amenities. A highlight of this trail system is Prairie Lake, a small lake that does have okay fishing, so bring your pole. Be apprised that your dog is allowed on the trail without a leash. Also, know that some of the horse trails are very soft which make walking tedious, like tromping through sand.
