Silver Lake State Park is located on the eastern shoreline of Lake Michigan and features 2000 acres of sand dunes. Included in that 2000 acres is a fun and scenic 450-acre ORV scramble area open to ORVs of all sizes. There are different requirements for each type of ORV type to ride in the state park so please refer to the state park requirements on the website before heading out. The scramble area is open from April to September. A recreation passport, ORV license, and trail permit are required for riding in the state park.
