The Kent Trails follows an abandoned railroad through the metropolitan area of Grand Rapids and surrounding communities. The trail is an all paved non-motorized pathway that connects residential areas and lots of open green space and parks. The trail also connects to multiple other trails systems in the area providing riders with lots of riding options. There are 5 main access points and parking areas for the trail that can be used to access specific sections of the trail. The trail is very flat, fairly easy to follow, and can be customized for all distances making it a good option for riders of varied skill levels.
