This scenic nature park located in central Michigan offers an excellent trail system that travels through the wilderness area offering lots of solitude and opportunity for wildlife viewing. This loop hike utilizes multiple trails to explore the terrain along the river and ponds and through the wooded terrain. The hiking trip can be customized for a shorter or longer trip by following additional trails in the park. The area also offers picnic sites, campsites, canoe launch ramps, and a sledding hill and cross-country skiing in the winter.
