The Al Sabo Land Preserve offers 25 miles of hiking and biking trails that travel through an area of rugged and wooded rolling terrain along a small creek and multiple small lakes. This hike starts from the parking area and leads up into the northern section of the preserve that is only open for hiking and cross-country skiing. The hiking trails in the northern section can be traveled in either direction and there are multiple connecting trails that provide lots of ways to customize a longer trip through the area. The southern trails are very popular for mountain bikers and hikers are asked to travel in the opposite direction so be cautious and watch for others while hiking through this area.
