This is a beautiful tour through forest and agricultural countryside that makes stops at two gorgeous parks. The first stop is at the Patuxent River Park, which is a state park with thick, mature forests and features hunting, fishing, hiking, and horseback riding. You will stop at Jug Bay, a gorgeous section of the Patuxent River and is a great area for birding. The second stop is at the Merkle Wildlife Sanctuary, a wintering ground a breeding area for Canada geese and other waterfowl. The roads on this tour are paved with relatively light traffic and the scenery throughout is stunning.
