The park is known for canoeing, it has something for everyone year-round. Bring your own gear and you can Cross-country ski in the winter months. Mosquitos are heavily present on this trail, bring bug spray and wear long sleeves and pants. You will walk through pine, oaks, the Sand Hill Nature preserve (caused by glacier activity) and a prairie. Snowmobiles, ATVs and golf carts are prohibited. Entrance fee required.
