The Shakamak Park has a lot to offer. Swimming, fishing, kayaking are a few of the many things you can do here. You can enroll on the InShape Walk program and enjoy the trails with other people. For part of this trail, you will walk the path along the lake of trail #1. You will see an abandoned coalmine, pine plantings and an oak forest. The entry fee to the park is higher for out of state vehicles.
