Visitors to Silver Spring State Park will enjoying hiking in a natural setting full of lush woodlands, beautiful wildflowers, and small scenic lakes. There are great opportunities for birdwatching in the area due to the diverse vegetation and close proximity to a river and small lakes. This easy loop trail is a good option for hikers of all levels and is open year-round. There are lots of spur trails and connecting trails within the park that can also be used to explore more of the area but some of the other trails are closed during certain times of year. The state park also offers picnic areas, fishing, non-motorized boating, and concessions making it a great place to spend the day.
