This wildlife area is a great place to go for a hike if you are looking for lots of solitude and beautiful scenery in a natural and remote setting. The trails provide great opportunity for viewing a variety of wildflowers and wildlife as you hike through diverse terrain consisting of woodlands, savannas, wetlands, and prairies. The trails are mowed grass and are only open for hiking. There are also multiple unmarked trails within the park that can be used to explore more of the area. The wildlife area provides parking, pit toilets, and some picnic tables but otherwise is quite primitive.
