This section of the 36-mile long Fox River Bike Trail starts from Tekakwitha Woods Forest Preserve and leads riders along the banks of the river through residential neighborhoods, parks, and forest preserves to the turnaround point at Fabyan Forest Preserve in Geneva. This route provides lots of great scenery of the river and open spaces and preserves that are scattered all along the route. The trail continues further north from the starting point and south from the turnaround point providing numerous riding options. There are also many preserves along the route that have connecting trails that can be used to explore more of the area. The trail is flat, well-marked, and mostly paved making it a great option for riders of all skill levels.
