Visitors to the Blackwell Forest Preserve will enjoy hiking through a scenic area full of diverse vegetation and terrain that is home to an abundant amount of birdlife and wildlife. Multiple trails are used to complete a lollipop loop that start from White Pine Pond and heads north and circles around McKee Marsh. The McKee Marsh area is the best spot to stop and do some birdwatching. There are also lots of spur trails and connecting trails in the area that hikers can also use to explore more of the area. There are lots of amenities within the preserve that include picnic areas, campgrounds, a boat launch, and concessions.
