West mint creek is located in the southeast region of Idaho. The trail navigates through the highly elevated forests and shrublands then into the semiarid hills and low mountains of Bannock County. The hike is fairly easy with a steady incline along the West Mint creek and it reaches as far as the West Fork Mink Creek. There are some really great views of Slate mountain towards the north east above the trail.
