The trailhead is located at the end of Forest Road 093 near Pioneer Campground. The route reaches high into the scenic alpine basins of the Soldier Mountain Range, and then terminates at its junction with the Soldier Creek – Miller Creek Trail. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear, because the hike follows Soldier Creek with some water crossings.
