The Massacre Rocks are a well-known landmark found along the historic Oregon and California Trails in southern Idaho. The rocks marked a narrow passage of the trail and were also used as a camp spot for wagons passing through. The state park campground sits next to the banks of the Snake River and includes 42 campsites over two loops. The sites can accomodate tents, trailers, and RVs. The sites include water and electric hookups, picnic tables, and fire pits. Drinking water, flush toilets, and showers are also available. Sites are $22-$27 per night and can be reserved online up until a day before arrival. There are also some camping cabins available that are $50-$55 per night.
