The trailhead is located off of Goose Lake road which is 25 miles from State Highway 55. The hike will go NE towards a ridge that offers amazing views. The trail reaches an easy to cross creek, then it's a steady uphill climb with a junction at about 2.35 miles from the trail-head. You'll want to go north from there. There are some fallen trees along this trail which can make it somewhat difficult and time consuming. You'll need to take the essential water, food, and kits for this adventure.
