The ride starts near Dear Creek Camground in Blaine County. At first, it climbs up Kinsey Creek Road through somewhat sandy terrain in the Smoky Mountains. It then junctions at a connector trail and makes for a fun, technical ride downhill as it loops back to the trailhead. Fall colors on the east side of the gurgling Curran Creek make for a great adventure.
