Beginning from the Kelly Flat Stagin Area, the Iron Mountain Lookout Trail follows a wagon road built in 1887 as a route to haul silver ore. The first half is pretty mild and the second half is steeper and can get dusty. There is a 96 db noise limit, and a spark arresting exhaust silencer or end cap is required for all vehicles, and the maximum width is 50 inches wide.
