Located in Latah County, the hike starts at NF Road 381. The trail was recently reconstructed in 2006, and it was originally built as a fire trail. The hike is rated moderate because of a prolonged grade through mostly timber and streamside vegetation. The route follows along Disalto Creek, and ends up at a junction with the Sand Mountain Trail.
