Located in Washington County, the Boundary Trail traces through the continental zone foothills of the Cuddy Mountains. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear for some steep switchbacks with loose rocks and gravel. Expect a lot of shrubs, weeds, creek crossings, and patches of forest along the way. The trail eventually ends near the Little Pine Creek. If you plan on camping, a wilderness permit can be obtained from a Forest Service facility or a registration box. Also, be cautious of ATV and motorbike riders in the area.
