This outing starts at the end of Burns Creek Road and leads into the Big Hole Mountains to it's junction with the Fleming Canyon Trail. It is definitely a challenge because of the steepness and large obstacles. The rocks in the area have a black color, so it makes for a pretty unique scenery. The route follows alongside Black Canyon with possible creek crossings, depending on season.
